SoilSET-Re-Veg™ is a
chemically engineered liquid organic binder designed to be blended
with seed
and hydromulch paper or wood fiber, in the process of planting
over soil

surfaces to control wind and water erosion. University studies
prove the moisture retention and binding properties of SoilSET-Re-Veg™ produce better quality and sturdier plant growth than
other comparative methods.
SoilSET-Re-Veg™ is a
low cost binder that produces a new solution to soil erosion
problems.
This product is an agricultural-based derivative coupled with
an inorganic catalyst. Re-Veg is used to create a "Bonded
Fiber Matrix" that penetrates and adheres to the soil
surfaces. Once applied, this product provides stabilization,
moisture retention
and a thermal cap for the seed contained in the matrix. This
engineered matrix overlays the soil much like a wet blanket,
penetrating
into and bonding with the soil substrate up to one half inch.
This provides the primary soil erosion stabilization mechanism
until the plant seedlings sprout and initiate a
root
structure. During the non-growing season, SoilSET-Re-Veg™
provides inherent soil stabilization until natural elements
provide water
and heat to support plant growth.
SoilSET-Re-Veg™ has been designed with environmental compatibility
as a central concern. This product simulates the indigenous
organic
materials that bind soils together in a natural-like matrix,
in much the same manner as do plant or crop residues. The result
of many studies and numerous applications show significant cost
reduction and increased performance.
PERFORMANCE WITH SoilSET-Re-Veg™
USING
HYDRAULIC AND AERIAL APPLICATIONS
-
Concentrated liquid-easy
to use.
-
Cost effective, mixing,
application, transportation and handling.
-
Once applied, forms blanket-like
soil overlay, protecting the soil from wind and water erosion.
-
Re-soluble matrix readily
allows water migration through the cap for use by seedling

plants.
-
Liquid binder not affected
by freeze-thaw cycles.
-
Efficient aerial disbursement,
resulting from balanced suspension of solids in the liquid
matrix.
-
Reduced spread rate - faster
production.
-
Rapid aerial deployment
of materials includes re-filling the 2,500-gallon tank in
approximately 60 seconds.
-
The aerial delivery system
efficiently applies the engineered matrixin minutes through
computer-operated door.
-
High volume aerial production
rates estimated at 50-65 acres per day.
-
Easy clean up - water only.
APPLICATION - General Recommendations
-
Water reduction of
liquid binder 1:3 to 1:4. Fresh, brackish, or effluent grades
of water may be used.
-
Spread rate, from 2000
to 3000 gallons of total aggregate mixture per acre, depending
on project design.
